Job summary

Sabal Tech, Inc. is seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to join a fast-paced, growing organization. You will work on cloud-based solutions with security, scalability, resiliency, cost, and performance in mind, deploying containerized apps using Docker and managing clusters with Kubernetes.

This remote, full-time role requires 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in CS or related field. Proficiency with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with scripting and coding languages with at least two of the listed items.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience using configuration management and cloud orchestration tools (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience building automated CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI, Github Actions).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container deployments.
• Experience with logging/monitoring tools (ELK, Prometheus, Datadog, CloudWatch).
• Familiarity with Maven/Gradle/NPM/Yarn and Linux server ecosystems.
• Strong written and spoken communication for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments.
• Develop scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with security, dev, and operations teams to optimize delivery.
• Deploy containerized applications using Docker and manage clusters with Kubernetes.
• Implement logging/monitoring and cost/performance optimizations.
