Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in the Miami area to design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure. You will own CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and collaborate across Engineering, Operations, QA, and Security teams.

The role requires strong Kubernetes experience (OpenShift a plus), IaC with Terraform, and hands‑on scripting in Bash, Python, and JavaScript. Generative AI experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of DevOps experience with senior responsibilities.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control, branching strategies, workflows, and repository management.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform for IaC.
• Expertise with GitHub Actions and Argo CD for CI/CD.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash, Python, and JavaScript.
• Deep experience with Kubernetes (Cloud and On‑prem); OpenShift a plus.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management.
• Strong understanding of monitoring and logging platforms such as Splunk and AppDynamics.
• Familiarity with security best practices, DevSecOps principles, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Generative AI experience preferred (integrating AI workflows, automation, or AI‑driven tooling).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code for cloud and on‑prem resources.
• Create, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Argo CD for automated build, test, security scanning, and releases.
• Deploy, scale, and operate workloads on Kubernetes (cloud and on‑prem); OpenShift experience is a plus.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting with Splunk and AppDynamics.
• Apply DevSecOps best practices, ensure adherence to security standards, and implement automated security controls.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, QA, and Security teams to streamline development workflows.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers.
