Job summary

Concentra is seeking a DevOps Engineer III to automate configurations, deployments, services, and monitoring. You will deploy applications, resolve issues, migrate legacy apps to modern cloud frameworks, and collaborate with security and development teams to ensure secure, scalable services.

The role requires strong scripting, IaC (Terraform/Ansible), Kubernetes, and container experience, plus experience with GitLab CI/CD and a broad tooling ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited college or university.
• Experience with AWS or Azure, ideally both.
• Expertise in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Experience with Configuration as Code (Ansible) and IaC (Terraform).
• Experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience across Windows and Linux environments and strong networking knowledge.
• Familiarity with observability/monitoring tools and security practices.
• Strong Agile experience and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Create, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines; enforce and adjust standards.
• Expand and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficiency, security, reliability, and observability.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain applications, services, and environments.
• Manage Configuration as Code (Ansible) and IaC (Terraform).
• Develop templates and playbooks for reusable CaC/IaC across systems.
• Deploy and manage containerized apps in Kubernetes using Helm charts.
• Lead analysis to remediate outages and improve performance; identify root causes.
• Provide IAM, encryption, and security guidance to ensure best practices.
• Document deployment diagrams and best practices; drive DevOps improvements.
