Job summary

Applied Resource Group is partnering with a global technology leader to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer. The role focuses on building, automating, and securing deployment environments across cloud, hybrid, and on‑premises platforms.

You will drive DevSecOps initiatives, manage Kubernetes with Helm, and advance IaC/CaC, CI/CD automation, and platform reliability in a hands-on team setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Configuration as Code, or Network as Code.
• 3+ years of Kubernetes experience and 4+ years of Docker experience.

Overview

Our client is an established global technology company developing innovative software platforms that support large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure. Their Platform Development team is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to help build, automate, and secure modern deployment environments across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises platforms.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on DevSecOps, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, and platform reliability. You'll partner closely with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to design scalable deployment solutions while improving automation, operational efficiency, and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) solutions.
• Build, manage, and optimize Kubernetes environments using Helm.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational processes using Bash and PowerShell.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support DevSecOps initiatives including vulnerability scanning, artifact management, and secure deployment practices.
• Collaborate with networking and security teams on firewall rules, certificates, PKI, and secrets management.
• Monitor production environments, troubleshoot deployment issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Develop deployment documentation, operational runbooks, and technical guides.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices across the engineering organization.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, Configuration as Code, or Network as Code.
• 3+ years of Kubernetes experience.
• 4+ years of Docker experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Helm.
• Experience with GitLab CI/Runners or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Strong scripting skills with Bash and PowerShell.
• Experience with DevSecOps tools such as ArgoCD, Harbor, JFrog, or similar.
• Understanding of certificate management, PKI, and secure deployment practices.
• Experience troubleshooting Linux and Windows environments.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, firewalls, and infrastructure security.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Nagios, or Zabbix is a plus.
• Experience supporting IoT or edge devices is a plus.
