Job summary

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer IV to join our team. The candidate will lead devops initiatives to build a reliable, scalable platform orchestrating microservices using modern technologies. Expertise in AWS, IaC, Kubernetes, and CI/CD is essential.

The role requires strong collaboration with development teams, the ability to optimize performance and reduce costs, and experience guiding sprint planning and tasking across a team.

Qualifications

• 12 years experience as a DevOps Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
• Four (4) years of additional Engineer experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
• Current CWIP (DoD 8140) certificate

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps efforts to ensure reliable, highly available platform
• Manage CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deploying code using GitLab runners and Argo CD
• Sprint priority decomposition and ticket generation to align with internal team priorities
• Track ticket execution while driving technical direction of the infrastructure
• Manage team tasking and sprint workloads to keep the team on task
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability
• Perform cost analysis and implement cost-saving measures for AWS infrastructure
