Job summary

New York Life is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design and optimize secure CI/CD pipelines, build scalable cloud infrastructure with Terraform on AWS, and manage containerized platforms with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).

You will implement observability with New Relic, Prometheus, and Grafana, and automate operations with Python, Bash, and PowerShell while embedding DevSecOps practices across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or related cloud engineering role supporting enterprise apps.
• Strong AWS hands-on experience (EC2, S3, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD platforms (Harness, Jenkins, Git, SonarQube, JFrog).
• Automation with Python, Bash, PowerShell, Groovy or Java; self-service DevOps capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize secure CI/CD pipelines using Harness and related tools.
• Build, provision, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure with Terraform.
• Develop and support containerized platforms using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Implement observability with New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana for proactive ops.
• Automate operations with scripting while embedding security and DevSecOps.
