Job summary

Jain Global is seeking a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Global Cloud and DevOps team in New York. You will build and operate automation, platforms, and tooling for reliable, secure deployments across multiple regions.

You will work closely with cloud, security, and application teams to evolve the cloud foundation, implement IaC, CI/CD, observability, and secure access controls while maintaining high availability and scalability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, IAM, RDS, S3, CloudWatch).
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code expertise.
• Kubernetes and Docker proficiency.
• CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
• Scripting in Python or Bash.
• Observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting experience.
• Cloud security, IAM, encryption, secrets management, and compliance knowledge.
• Strong communication and collaboration with globally distributed teams.
• Pragmatic, automated approach to reliability and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain IaC modules and automation using Terraform.
• Develop self-service capabilities for provisioning AWS resources.
• Provision and operate AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, MSK, etc.).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Manage and improve Kubernetes platforms, GitOps workflows, Helm charts, and onboarding.
• Develop observability capabilities using Grafana, Prometheus, DataDog, Loki, and CloudWatch.
• Support cloud networking across multiple accounts and environments.
• Implement secure IAM, encryption, and secrets management controls.
• Improve reliability, scalability, and security of shared platforms.
• Automate manual processes for consistent deployments.
• Support development teams with design, troubleshooting, and production readiness.
• Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Embed security and governance into platform tooling.
• Collaborate with global teams across locations.
