Job summary

Jain Global is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join the global Infrastructure team in NYC. You will design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, collaborating across London, New York, and APAC, with MSP support.

The role emphasizes security, cost optimization, and scalable, reliable architectures. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of hands-on cloud experience, strong scripting and IaC skills, and experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) in cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of hands-on cloud engineering experience in AWS and Azure.
• Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
• Proficient in scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring tools, and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design cloud-native architectures, microservices, and serverless apps.
• Implement and maintain automated deployment pipelines, IaC, and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible).
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud performance, security, and costs.
• Design disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for cloud systems.
• Evaluate new cloud technologies and document architectures and best practices.
