Closer IT Consulting is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a fully remote, full-time engagement to drive cloud infrastructure automation, security hardening, and reliable deployments across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

You will lead with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes, build scalable CI/CD pipelines, implement observability, and partner with global development squads to accelerate software delivery while maintaining strict security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infra management.
• Hands-on expertise in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong Linux administration and cloud infra fundamentals.
• CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Cloud networking, IAM security and observability proficiency.
• Programming or scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Detailed Job Description:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer supporting Closer IT Consulting in a remote capacity, you will take full operational, architectural, and tactical ownership of cloud infrastructure automation, system security hardening, and deployment reliability. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include provisioning and scaling cloud resources across AWS, Azure, or GCP, authoring modular Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, administering Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters, and implementing comprehensive observability solutions. You will troubleshoot complex production incidents, optimize system performance, and enforce rigorous cloud security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
