Job summary

Momentum Engineering, Inc. is seeking a software engineer to support DevOps within an Agile development team for a large, complex enterprise system.

The role emphasizes automating processes and delivering software efficiently while considering end-to-end IT infrastructure. The candidate must have active TS/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph and 8+ years of DevOps experience, including CI/CD, Windows admin, and familiarity with multiple languages and IDEs.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
• 8+ years of DevOps experience.
• 5+ years managing tools for software development, deployment, and testing.
• 5+ years with CI/CD frameworks.
• Experience with Windows and some Linux system administration.
• Proficient in Java, Groovy, Python, PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript; IDEs listed above.
• Experience with source control and configuration management tools.
• Experience in virtualized environments and VM management.
• Experience with container-based platforms for automated deployment.
• Motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn new techniques; follow test automation best practices.
• Strong understanding of sound software development principles.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Independent thinker capable of high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage tools that support development, deployment, and testing.
• Integrate project functions across the full product lifecycle.
• Identify manual processes and implement automation for efficiency.
• Select, configure, and maintain CI/CD tools.
• Support development, testing, and automation tools; optimize IT infrastructure.
• Ensure system changes meet security standards.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration/delivery/deployment.
