Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann Company, seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer for a 12-month contract in Plano, TX (Hybrid – Local candidates only). Responsibilities include building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, maintaining site reliability, and implementing observability across critical platforms.

The ideal candidate has strong Jenkins experience, hands-on production operations knowledge, and collaboration skills to work with software and infrastructure teams. On-site/remote balance is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins.
• Experience with SRE practices and production reliability.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance analysis.
• Experience supporting on-call readiness and production operations.
• Experience with incident management and troubleshooting in enterprise environments.
• Some programming or scripting experience.
• Familiarity with IDEs and software development tools.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Design, enhance, and support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related DevOps tools.
• Improve deployment automation, release processes, and engineering workflows.
• Support site reliability engineering initiatives focused on system availability, performance, and resilience.
• Develop and maintain observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboards.
• Help ensure applications and platforms are prepared for on-call support and production operations.
• Participate in incident management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and service restoration.
• Support the Technology Operations Center (TOC) during production incidents and operational events.
• Collaborate with software engineers, infrastructure teams, and other technology partners.
• Contribute to automation and process improvements that increase operational efficiency.
• Use software engineering principles to troubleshoot issues and improve tools and platforms.
• Work within an IDE and demonstrate familiarity with modern software development workflows.
• Document procedures, technical solutions, operational standards, and lessons learned.
