Job summary

Global Medical Response (GMR) is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to advance our DevOps practice and enable secure, reliable, and efficient software delivery across the organization.

This role partners with Software Development, Infrastructure, Security, Support, and business stakeholders to automate processes, improve platform reliability, and accelerate delivery, while embedding DevSecOps and governance. Hybrid work in Greenwood Village, CO or Lewisville, TX.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps or related fields.
• Strong SDLC understanding and Agile practices.
• Hands-on with enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise, Terraform, ARM, and Bicep.
• Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL and change management.
• Knowledge of SOC 2, ITGC, HIPAA, HITRUST controls.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Develop IaC with Terraform, ARM Templates, and Bicep.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve delivery and release processes.
• Implement DevOps, DevSecOps, and platform engineering best practices.
• Support change management and governance requirements.
• Work with Security and Compliance on SOC 2, ITGC, HIPAA, HITRUST.
• Improve monitoring and incident response; perform root-cause analysis.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Research new technologies and drive automation initiatives.
