JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Payments Technology team in a large-scale, secure software environment in the US. The role emphasizes CI/CD, automation, and cloud-native delivery within a regulated Payments context.

You will work on securing deployment pipelines, building reliable production code, and collaborating with cybersecurity and engineering teams to embed controls while leveraging AI-assisted development tools.

Formación

• Formal training or certification with 5+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise AI-assisted development tools and ability to evaluate AI outputs.
• Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and secure handling.
• Proficient in coding; strong Groovy and Bash scripting for automation.
• Experience with Jenkins CI (Jenkinsfiles, shared libraries, credentials, agents).
• Spinnaker for pipelines, deployments, and promotions.
• AWS experience and cloud security fundamentals.
• Experience coding in modern languages and SQL in large corporate environments.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
• Knowledge of software architectures and cloud technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Executes software solutions with design, development, and troubleshooting, focusing on CI/CD and release automation for Payments platforms.
• Produces secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms with Jenkins pipelines and shell scripting for build and deploy automation.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex apps, ensuring constraints are met and deployment strategies defined.
• Gathers and analyzes data to develop visualizations and telemetry for CI/CD and software performance.
• Identifies patterns in data to improve coding hygiene, reliability, and automation.
• Contributes to DevOps and secure SDLC practices through communities of practice.
• Uses AI coding tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity; validates outputs via reviews and tests.
• Applies SDLC tooling knowledge, including AI-assisted development, to improve automation value.
• Supports stability for delivery tooling (Jenkins/Spinnaker), incident triage, root-cause analysis, and improvement.
• Partners with security teams to embed controls (secrets, least privilege, approvals) in pipelines for Payments workloads.
