Job summary

Dover Networks LLC is seeking a senior platform engineer with Top Secret/SCI clearance to drive architecture, deployment, and debugging across critical business software. You will build release pipelines and automate deployments while leading Agile ceremonies with cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong CM practices, SRE mindset, and experience with Puppet/Ansible. Expect collaboration across development, operations, and security to maintain high availability and security standards.

Qualifications

• Must have Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Poly.
• Extensive experience in platform architecture, deployment, and debugging.
• Experience building release pipelines for safe production delivery.
• Strong CM practices: Git, branching, merging strategies.
• Lead Agile teams and participate in all Agile ceremonies.
• Automation of release deployments across multiple environments.
• Configuration management with Puppet and Ansible.
• Maintain documentation and dashboards in Confluence/Jira.
• Web service infrastructure deployment and maintenance.
• Deep knowledge of service architectures, SLA, and high availability.
• Cross-team collaboration with stakeholders and developers.
• Fluent in Python, Ruby, Perl, and Java.

Responsibilities

• Must be fluent with Git and Linux environments.
• Lead design and deployment of scalable platform architectures.
• Set up and automate CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
• Integrate Jenkins/Bamboo, Docker, and Kubernetes for automated deployments.
• Implement configuration management with Puppet/Ansible across stacks.
• Maintain and patch tracking with Confluence/Jira.
• Analyze service stacks and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align requirements.
• Support deployment and operations when needed.
• Ensure security practices and PCI compliance awareness.
