Job summary

WME is building the next generation of internal platforms powering a world-leading entertainment company. We seek a Senior DevOps Engineer who can design cloud infrastructure and elevate system reliability across a fast-moving, multi-service environment.

You will own the end-to-end reliability story: provisioning cloud resources, maintaining Kubernetes deployments, and improving CI/CD pipelines. You’ll help migrate from a legacy system while shaping a greenfield cloud-native platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of solid DevOps or platform engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Azure (AKS, AD, managed DBs, storage, networking).
• Terraform experience — IaC at scale.
• Kubernetes and Helm in production workloads.
• Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• PostgreSQL operations, backups, failover, migrations, performance tuning.
• Observability tooling (Datadog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
• Incident response experience and driving reliability improvements.
• Docker and container image management.
• Secrets management (Azure Key Vault, Vault).
• Comfort with evolving systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Azure infrastructure using Terraform for networking, compute, and secrets.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and Helm deployments for a distributed microservices platform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps) for fast, safe deployments.
• Define and improve observability: metrics, logging, alerting, tracing across services.
• Lead incident response and write postmortems with follow-up reliability improvements.
• Manage PostgreSQL infrastructure: backups, replication, failover, performance.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve local development environments and deployment workflows.
• Enforce security best practices across the stack including secrets management and policies.
