Job summary

Castalia Systems is seeking a DevOps Engineer Tech 4 to automate and optimize our DevOps toolchain, ensuring seamless collaboration between development and operations teams. You will optimize CI/CD pipelines for AirGap cloud settings and support automation of customer development desktops for the best customer experience.

The role emphasizes Azure infrastructure using IaC, golden image pipelines, security compliance, and integration of IAM via AD/Entra ID with SSO systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years leadership or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years demonstrated performance in related technology.
• Security+ Certification.
• Experience deploying Microsoft infrastructure using Terraform or Bicep.
• Experience in a classified Azure Region or AirGapped network.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate Azure infrastructure using IaC (Bicep/Terraform).
• Build and maintain Azure Pipelines to automate provisioning of VMs, Key Vault, networking, and platform services.
• Enforce GitOps-based baselines for versioned, traceable configuration across environments.
• Create and maintain “golden image” pipelines using Packer for enterprise workloads.
• Ensure security compliance and integrate IAM via AD/Entra ID (SSO such as Keycloak).
• Operate and maintain secure enterprise environments per DoD security standards.
