Job summary

Castalia Systems is seeking a DevOps Engineer Tech 3 to automate and optimize our DevOps toolchain, focusing on CI/CD in AirGap cloud settings and automation of customer desktops for best customer experience. You will work to improve pipelines, security, and scalability across DoD-aligned environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant tech experience.
• Security+ certification required.
• Experience with Packer and Terraform (HCL).
• Experience with Azure Bicep.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate Azure IaC for repeatable, scalable environments.
• Build and maintain Azure Pipelines to automate provisioning of VMs, Key Vault, networking, and services.
• Enforce GitOps-based baselines for versioned, traceable configurations across environments.
• Create golden image pipelines using Packer for enterprise workloads.
• Ensure security compliance and IAM integration (AD/Entra ID, Keycloak).
• Develop automation to minimize manual intervention and improve deployment reliability.
• Document configurations and handoffs in Confluence.
