Job summary

Duetto Research is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to design scalable AWS infrastructure behind our revenue platform, guiding architecture and building automation. You will partner with engineers to improve reliability, performance, and security while owning on-call incident response and RCAs.

You will mentor DevOps engineers, build reusable tooling, and help integrate AI into our DevOps and SRE workflows, shaping how our team operates at scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in an Ops, DevOps, or SRE role with real system design and architecture experience.
• Hands-on AWS experience (IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Secrets Manager, KMS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail) with multi-account management and SSO.
• Strong networking and security knowledge; grasp of load balancing fundamentals.
• Infra-as-code expertise with Terraform in a multi-user environment.
• Experience with CI/CD and build/deploy tooling (GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, JFrog, GitOps).
• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog).
• Proven track record resolving on-call incidents and leading RCAs for lasting fixes.
• Service reliability mindset; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, secure AWS infrastructure with automation at the core.
• Collaborate with developers on architecture to improve reliability, performance, and security.
• Lead on-call incidents and drive RCAs to prevent recurrence.
• Build tools and automation used across the engineering org and mentor DevOps teams.
• Explore AI integration into DevOps and SRE workflows.
