Job summary

acuCyber is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and maintain cloud infrastructure and secure deployment environments supporting mission applications and core services.

This full‑time role focuses on automation, troubleshooting, and secure delivery in AWS environments, with container orchestration via Kubernetes/OpenShift and integration of automated security testing. The position is on a Government site with Charleston, SC preferred, but NCR candidates are also considered.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure.
• Strong automation and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of security controls and compliance in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Build, automate, and maintain AWS infrastructure for development and deployments.
• Develop infrastructure as code and automation to ensure repeatable deployments.
• Deploy and operate containerized apps using Kubernetes/OpenShift; address scalability and reliability.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate builds, tests, and deployments.
• Configure DevOps toolchain, registries, artifact repos, and environments.
• Integrate automated security testing into delivery workflows and remediate vulnerabilities.
