Job summary

ClassWallet is hiring a DevOps Engineer to optimize AWS workloads, CI/CD pipelines, and observability for critical public-sector platforms.

Reporting to the Sr. Engineering Platform Manager, you will help drive GovRAMP/FedRAMP compliant infrastructure, manage Kubernetes deployments, and ensure high availability for state and local agency partners.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing, building, and managing complex cloud systems (AWS) in regulated environments.
• Experience with GovRAMP, FedRAMP, and SOC 2 Type 2 compliance.
• Strong AWS mastery across EKS/ECS, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC.
• Proven ability to design scalable, secure, auditable infrastructure.
• Hands-on with Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK to automate provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build and operate scalable, compliant cloud infrastructure with GovRAMP and FedRAMP.
• Own GitHub CI/CD pipelines, optimize workflows, zero-downtime deployments (Blue/Green, Canary).
• Implement observability stacks with Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Define Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Collaborate across Engineering and Security to ensure audits and reliability.
• Document runbooks, diagrams, disaster recovery procedures.
