Job summary

OVHcloud US is seeking a Senior SRE/DevOps professional to own problem and change management, improve observability, and drive automation across the cloud infrastructure. The role emphasizes training, mentorship, and implementing scalable processes.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Linux, microservices, and multiple APIs, plus familiarity with OVHcloud tooling (Atelier, Agora, MOZG) and ITIL practices.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• 1 year in an SRE, DevOps, programming, or similar position.
• 1 year Linux/Unix and Windows administration experience.
• 1 year working with microservices and multiple APIs.
• 1 year of languages such as Perl, Python, Bash, Go.
• 1 year managing a distributed Linux-based infrastructure.
• 1 year with monitoring/metrics/logging tools like Nagios, Grafana, OpenSearch.
• 1 year with config management tools (Puppet, Ansible, Terraform).
• 1 year with cloud technologies and virtualization/container tech.
• 1 year with OVHCloud Atelier provisioning/maintenance deployments.
• 1 year with OVHCloud Agora billing for subscriptions.
• 1 year with MOZG tool for OVHCloud Private Cloud.
• 1 year with Baremetal Catalog and Capabilities configurations.
• 1 year ITIL experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the Problem Management Process for the team and implement remediations.
• Recommend and implement process improvements based on ITIL standards.
• Own Change Management activities to deploy and maintain infra.
• Provide training and mentor team members; improve onboarding.
• Own observability systems and ensure policy compliance.
• Work with team to implement automation for manual tasks.
• Assist in building and deploying OVHcloud infra and troubleshooting apps.
• Develop metrics for automated reports for leaders.
• Write root cause analyses and update official docs.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing for new product launches.
