Job summary

OVHcloud US LLC is hiring a Systems Engineer to own escalations for critical billing systems, troubleshoot across microservices, and lead development initiatives. You will read and modify code, mentor juniors, and present changes to the Change Review Board while shaping the architecture of complex cloud applications.

The role emphasizes ownership, collaboration, and mentoring within a growing team, with a strong focus on reliable, scalable cloud infrastructure and internal tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
• 1 year in an SRE, DevOps, programming, or similar position.
• 1 year of experience performing day-to-day operational tasks in SRE/DevOps with microservices and multiple APIs.
• 1 year of experience with languages such as Perl, Python, Bash, Go, etc.
• 1 year of experience managing distributed, highly available Linux-based infrastructure.
• 1 year of experience with monitoring/metrics/logging (Nagios, Grafana, OpenSearch).
• 1 year of experience with cloud technologies and terminology.
• 1 year of experience with virtualization and container technology.
• 1 year deploying software using OVHcloud CDS (CI/CD).
• 1 year with OVHcloud Agora billing tool for customer subscriptions.
• 1 year with MOZG tool on OVHcloud production environments.
• 1 year with OVHcloud product catalog.
• 1 year administering Zuora platform.
• 1 year creating and supporting Zuora CPQ templates in Salesforce.
• 1 year of ITIL experience.

Responsibilities

• Write efficient, organized, readable, well-documented code.
• Design and maintain deployments using OVHcloud CDS to non-prod and prod environments.
• Build, install, and deploy OVHcloud infrastructure and troubleshoot microservices and APIs.
• Use scripting to automate tasks and data collection.
• Debug highly available distributed systems and create fixes.
• Lead large development projects from planning to deployment and support.
• Mentor teammates, conduct onboarding, and review technical docs.
• Serve as development escalation for support.
