This key role involves leading complex development tasks, providing technical leadership, and automating server configurations and deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Bash and any of Perl, Python, or Ruby.
• Solid understanding of Linux system administration and security practices.
• Experience with package management and configuring systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance deployment scripts for high availability and administration.
• Plan migrations of administrative scripts to modern programming languages.
• Manage and secure on-premises server room and infrastructure.

Skills

Scripting expertise with Bash and any of Perl, Python, or Ruby

Detailed understanding of Linux operating systems (Rocky Linux / RedHat)

Experience creating kickstarts or similar system installation technologies

Designing and implementing Jenkins CI/CD pipelines

Ability to troubleshoot operating system issues

Education

Graduate of a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering program
