Job summary

Tomorrow.io's engineering team builds life-changing software at scale, from data-heavy infrastructure to user-centric experiences for B2B, B2C and B2D products affecting billions of lives. We seek a Senior DevOps Engineer to drive reliability, security, and efficiency of our weather platform with AI-enabled tooling and scalable cloud infrastructure.

You'll collaborate across weather scientists and engineers to optimize performance and cost, deploy AI-driven workflows, and maintain production

Qualifications

6+ years as a Platform/DevOps/SRE engineer in containerized cloud environments.
Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and IaC (Terraform or Crossplane).
Strong sense of ownership and accountability for service reliability.

Responsibilities

Develop AI-powered tools to improve DevOps efficiency.
Collaborate with weather scientists, engineers, and Spacecraft Mission Operations Engineers to optimize performance, reliability, scale, security, and cost.
Evolve and maintain adaptive cloud infrastructure to support growth at scale.
Build self-service platforms for scientists and developers to work independently.
Support HPC workloads (SLURM) alongside Kubernetes platforms.
Introduce and integrate MLOps practices for GPU-based model deployments on Kubernetes.
Maintain production availability by participating in on-call shifts.
