Job Summary: This role involves working closely with engineering teams to build scalable, globally deployed web applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, can work with diverse technologies, and can architect and implement deployments across various infrastructure platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Establish procedures for installing and maintaining node clusters with Rancher/Kubernetes on-premises and cloud
• Secure microservices workloads and support high availability/scaling
• Automate installation, updates, and backups of microservices
• Implement monitoring for service health, resource utilization, and performance
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Bitbucket
• Develop automation scripts in Bash, Python, or similar
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and Helm charts
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform
• Troubleshoot issues related to logs, performance, and technologies like Kafka, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Perform deployment, update, and troubleshooting operations
• Collaborate with cloud teams to optimize infrastructure costs and performance

Requirements:

• Experience supporting high-availability internet applications
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python
• Experience with Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes, and related containerization tools
• Knowledge of Kubernetes Certificate Manager and Service Mesh
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and microservice security (TLS)
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack
• Linux system administration skills
• Experience deploying on AWS, Azure, GCP
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

The US base salary range is $150,000 - $185,000 + benefits. Compensation is role, level, and location-dependent, with potential variable incentives. Centric Software is an equal opportunity employer.
