United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to join our Cloud Platform Engineering team, building a Modern SaaS platform with an automation‑first mindset. This role is hybrid-remote: fully remote for many, with routine in-office time for local applicants, and requires strong Kubernetes, IaC, and CI/CD expertise.

Competenze

• 7+ years of DevOps / production operations experience.
• 5+ years of Cloud Native application delivery experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins).
• Intimate knowledge of public cloud infrastructures (GCP preferred, AWS, Azure).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, IAM, networking, storage, virtualization.
• Expert level in Helm, K8S, Istio, GCP/AWS/GKE/EKS, Terraform, SRE/DevOps practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation.
• Experience building automation and deploying software with CI/CD and Progressive Delivery.
• Strong development experience in Python, Terraform, Golang, Java, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux-based systems and runtimes.

As part of the Cloud Platform Engineering team, you will be building the company’s Modern SaaS platform. An ideal candidate for us is an experienced engineer who is passionate about building high performance cloud platforms with automation first mindset and a brilliant problem solver and a creative self-starter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be part of Cloud Platform Infrastructure Team, focused on building hybrid-cloud solutions.
• Build automation capabilities towards common abstractions, tools, automation for CI/CD and progressive delivery of Cloud Native applications.
• Enable all the company development teams with Cloud Native developer workflow, conduct developer training and toolset to automate software delivery with a focus on Scale, HA.
• Design, and build secure, highly scalable, enterprise grade platform Tools.
• Document and communicate clearly of architecture and implementation solutions.
• Work closely with product managers, architects, testers, and development teams.
• Troubleshoot and support current Cloud platform in production.

Key Qualifications:

• 7+ years of professional DevOps / production operations experience.
• 5+ years of Cloud Native application delivery experience.
• Strong Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, etc.,
• Intimate knowledge of public cloud infrastructures (GCP - Preferred, AWS, Azure).
• Hands-on experience working on core Cloud services – Kubernetes, Compute, Storage, Network, Virtualization, Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Expert level in Current technology Stack Helm, K8S, Istio, GCP, AWS, GKE, EKS, Terraform, SRE/DevOps practices or equivalent.
• Strong proven experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), to be responsible for building robust platforms using automation.
• Experience building automation and deploying high quality software with test frameworks and CI/CD, Progressive Delivery.
• Strong development experience in one or more programming languages - Python, Terraform, Golang, Java, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux based systems and runtimes.
• DevOps mindset and familiarity with the concept of Site Reliability Engineering – inherent sense of ownership through the development and deployment lifecycle.
• You understand what it takes to run mission critical software in production.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and work collaboratively in an agile environment.

Workplace location:

This role is fully remote for candidates who reside outside Porto, Maia, Matosinhos, Gondomar, Valongo e Vila Nova de Gaia. Candidates who reside within those municipalities would be required to work in-office 3 days a week.
