Job summary

Unifonic is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in the DevX team to bridge development, testing, and operations.

You will design and improve CI/CD pipelines, configure products, and ensure 24x7 availability of messaging, voice, and email gateways while collaborating with offshore teams daily.

Qualifications

• Hands-on 5+ years in Professional Services/Enterprise DevOps.
• Strong infra as Code (Terraform) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Configuration management (Ansible) and programming (Python).
• Logging/monitoring (Elastic Stack); CI/CD with DroneCI and Argo CD.
• Offshore interface and fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

As a Senior DevOps Engineer in the Developer Experience (DevX) team, you will be working to cross and merge the barriers that exist between software development, testing, and operations teams, and keep existing networks in mind as they design, plan, and test.

Help us shape the future of communications by: Setting up and enhancing CI (Continuous Integration) and CD (Continuous Deployment). Configuring the company's products to meet the functional requirements, including the configuration of functional areas and technical areas (e.g. integration interfaces, integration maps, web services, transport protocols,etc). Troubleshooting and remediating issues impacting the integration and operations of theinfrastructure and systems. Ensuring high availability of the company’s products and platforms [24x7x365], including but not limited to messaging, voice, and e-mail gateways, in addition to assessing emergencies, providing analysis, and recommending solutions. Writing and deploying scripts in different environments to automate day-to-day operations. Maintaining servers’ configuration, monitoring jobs, and infrastructure documentation across the cloud environment (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, etc). Working extensively with the offshore teams and network of partners on a daily basis.

Requirements

What you will bring:

• Hands-on 5+ years of recent technical experience in a Professional Services/Enterprise DevOps role.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in multiple functional areas are required, such as infrastructure as Code (Terraform), containerize orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), configuration management (Ansible), programming language (Python), logging system (Elastic Stack), CI/CD (DroneCI, Argo CD) and network protocols and standards.
• Bitbucket pipelines after DroneCI, ArgoCD Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants like Claude Code Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Software Engineering, or other IT-related fields.
• The ability to spend substantial time interfacing with the offshore teams on a daily basis.
• Fluent in English with excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills.
