Job description

• As a Senior DevOps Engineer within GTECH Cloud Engineering, you will design, automate, secure and operate RX Cloud Platforms across AWS and Microsoft Azure. Based in Richmond, London, you will work closely with software engineering teams to improve cloud infrastructure, delivery automation, observability and platform reliability
• Design, build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles
• Support AWS services including EKS, EC2, ECS/Fargate, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Route53, ALB, VPC, IAM, Systems Manager and CloudWatch
• Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules and infrastructure patterns
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related tooling
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and release automation
• Implement cloud security best practices and support remediation activities
• Maintain monitoring, logging and alerting solutions, participate in incident management and root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement
• Automate repetitive operational activities and leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to improve troubleshooting, documentation, operational efficiency and platform reliability
