We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, system administration, and automation, with a passion for building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure.

Role Responsibilities

1. Create and maintain system documentation, ensuring that information is current and reflects system updates and changes.
2. Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to and resolve system issues during designated periods, ensuring the smooth operation of production environments.
3. Support responsibilities that intersect with multiple IDEXX development teams and business functions.
4. Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure using cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
5. Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines to automate code deployment and testing processes.
6. Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and applications.
7. Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security.
8. Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
9. Ensure continuous improvement of DevOps practices and processes.
10. Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices and technical skills.

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, with in-depth knowledge of DevOps principles and systems administration.
• Knowledge of Linux platforms, containerization, and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with application servers configuration, deployment, and administration; WebLogic Server experience is required.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), with a preference for AWS.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation), with a preference for Terraform.
• Scripting and programming skills in Python and Bash.
• Familiarity with software development processes in a hybrid-cloud environment.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Base salary: $100,000 - $120,000 (flexible based on experience).
