Department Overview

The IPVideo department designs, engineers, and develops IoT-based products for the safety and security industry. The team has developed the HALO and SentryERS products and continues to develop many more to add to the product portfolio. The department includes Cloud Development and Device Development teams. The Cloud Development team is responsible for all the web and mobile application development to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for our customers.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure and tools to deliver reliable cloud-based applications.
• Implement containerization using Docker and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to track system health, performance, and the availability of infrastructure and applications.
• Ensure high availability of all cloud components and services and implement scaling solutions vertically and horizontally as needed.
• Develop, maintain, and test incident response plans and disaster recovery procedures to minimize downtime and data loss.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and internal penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the development, testing, and release processes.
• Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role or similar position. Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, ELK stack, or Splunk.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Target Base Salary Range: $72,700 - $145,400.

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
