UniGroup is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help us grow and optimize the cloud infrastructure that powers our global network. You’ll join a mature, collaborative engineering team with a deep investment in AWS and infrastructure-as-code practices. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful challenges, such as improving developer efficiency, scaling platforms, and advancing Kubernetes (EKS) environments, all while mentoring others and influencing how our infrastructure evolves.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud and on-premises platforms to support internal engineering teams
• Lead the buildout and optimization of AWS environments using services like EKS, RDS, Lambda, S3, and more
• Use Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible to automate deployment and management processes
• Drive improvements in platform performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency through proactive monitoring and system tuning
• Mentor junior engineers, lead technical discussions, and share expertise through tech talks and peer reviews
• Partner with development teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and build systems that enhance developer productivity
• Collaborate closely with the team and stakeholders across engineering and product
• Support incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous learning within a highly engaged and supportive team
  
  

What You Bring

Required:

• 3-5 years in platform, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering with hands-on experience in AWS cloud services
• Strong proficiency with Linux systems
• 2+ years of Kubernetes (preferably EKS) setup, administration, and optimization
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi)
• Understanding of CI/CD best practices and modern DevOps principles
• Comfort operating in a collaborative, agile environment with cross-team influence
  
  

Nice to Have:

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or similar)
• Familiarity with scripting in Python, Bash, or similar
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers
