Job summary

Quantum Integrators in New Jersey seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to build automation and CI/CD pipelines for secure installation of client software on PMUL/Cybersphere servers. You will design idempotent install automation (Ansible preferred) and integrate with artifact stores, implement secrets handling, and ensure audit logging across environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years engineering experience with 4+ years in DevOps/SRE/automation roles.
• Strong Linux administration and package management experience.
• Hands-on automation with Ansible and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) that fetch artifacts, verify integrity, install packages, and run post-install validations.
• Develop idempotent install automation (Ansible preferred) that supports install/upgrade/uninstall and rollback.
• Integrate with internal artifact repositories and implement checksum/signature verification.
• Implement secure secrets handling (Jenkins credentials / Vault), mutual TLS or token auth for repo access, and detailed audit logging.
• Add automated smoke tests, health checks, and monitoring/alerts for install outcomes and configuration drift.
• Document runbooks, rollback procedures, and pipeline design; provide knowledge transfer to ops teams.
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise change controls and security policies.
