Job summary

Quantum Research International is seeking an Intermediate DevOps/CI/CD Engineer to design and operate secure delivery pipelines for a RAG-based AI application. You will automate builds, tests, deployments, and monitoring across .NET/C#, Go, and Python services in containerized environments.

The role emphasizes Infrastructure as Code, secure software practices, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to support mission‑critical government workloads.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance preferred or the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
• BS degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent field.
• Three or more years of professional experience in software development, DevOps, or related technical field.
• Hands‑on CI/CD experience with GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalents.
• Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, or backend services.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or similar IaC tools.
• Understanding of Linux environments, networking, secrets management, and configuration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for services, RAG components, AI models, and infrastructure.
• Automate builds, testing, security scanning, packaging, deployment, rollback, and release management.
• Support deployment and operation of .NET/C#, Go, and Python services across environments.
• Build and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop infrastructure‑as‑code and configuration management for repeatable environments.
• Manage build artifacts, container images, dependencies, secrets, and configs.
• Integrate automated testing, static analysis, and security checks into pipelines.
• Monitor, log, alert, and operate AI‑assisted services and supporting components.
