Job summary

TechNix LLC in Raleigh, NC is seeking a senior automation engineer to lead automation of the CI/CD pipeline for NC FAST applications. The role focuses on infrastructure provisioning, build and deploy activities, and reliable releases using AWS, Ansible Tower/AWX, and Terraform.

The candidate will work with DevOps and application teams to enhance CI/CD workflows, scripting in Python/Bash, and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes. Hybrid work in NC is required.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience automating Linux OS and patches across environments using automation tools.
• 3 years hands-on with Git/Bitbucket for source control management.
• 7 years automating build/deploy including DB changes with Ansible.
• 7 years developing automation scripts in Python/Bash/Shell.
• 2 years building and packaging apps with Docker and scaling with Kubernetes.
• 4 years infra provisioning/configuration with Terraform and Ansible.
• 2 years building CI/CD pipelines with TeamCity, Jenkins, Ansible.
• 2 years AWS knowledge and infrastructure expertise.
