Job summary

Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) seeks a DevOps Automation Engineer IV to own lifecycle management of Traverse AWS infrastructure and tooling. You will deploy, patch, secure, and troubleshoot mission-critical systems across environments, and guide engineers with automation, CI/CD, and IaC practices.

You will provide expert incident response, capacity planning, and cost optimization while collaborating with multiple teams to improve platforms and processes in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field preferred; equivalent work experience considered
• 7+ years experience in systems and infrastructure administration role with AWS, Linux, and Python
• Experience deploying, managing, and administering AWS infrastructure (API Gateway, RDS, ELB, CloudFront, AMQ, Cognito, S3, IAM, WAF, VPC) and observability platforms
• Experience with configuration management (Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform) and scripting (Bash, Python, AWS CLI)
• Strong security, networking, and incident response skills

Responsibilities

• Support, deploy, administer, and maintain ARC’s Traverse AWS infrastructure platforms and observability tools
• Respond to complex incidents and provide capacity planning and maintenance guidance
• Develop plans for maintenance, optimization, and cost-management of infrastructure
• Lead lifecycle management for infrastructure and establish scalable, secure processes
• Document approaches for maintaining infrastructure and share knowledge with teams
• Stay updated with new tooling and best practices in platform engineering
