Job summary

Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) is seeking a DevOps Automation Engineer III to manage Traverse infrastructure, AWS services, deployment, patching, security, and troubleshooting across environments. You will provide leadership and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver reliable infrastructure.

This role emphasizes on-call support, capacity planning, and cost optimization, with a focus on scalable, secure operations and continuous improvement in our hybrid WorkFlex environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in computer science or engineering.
• 4+ years in systems or infrastructure administration with AWS, Linux, and Python.
• Experience deploying and managing AWS infrastructure and virtualization platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject-matter expertise in lifecycle management of ARC's Traverse infrastructure with AWS services.
• Respond to atypical events and incidents; participate in capacity planning and system triage.
• Identify resources for performance and cost optimization with engineering teams.
• Set up and manage enterprise tools requiring infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Develop scalable maintenance plans and keep technology platforms current.
• Stay current with infrastructure tools and coach peers.
