Job summary

Ontic is seeking a DevOps Engineering leader to architect and operate secure, scalable Kubernetes platforms across AWS and AWS GovCloud, including FedRAMP-authorized environments. You will drive zero-trust security, Terraform and GitOps automation, observability, reliability, disaster recovery, and cost governance for multi-tenant and enterprise deployments.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering in enterprise or high-scale SaaS environments.
• Proven experience in architecting and operating production environments in AWS and AWS GovCloud; GCP or OCI experience is a plus.
• FedRAMP Moderate/High production environment experience including monitoring, remediation, incident response, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead Enterprise Platform Architecture across Kubernetes platforms and FedRAMP authorization boundaries.
• Drive DevSecOps & zero-trust security, IAM governance, encryption, and policy enforcement in CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement AIOps, observability, and scalable AI/ML workload infrastructure for resilient operations.
• Drive infrastructure standardization with Terraform, Helm, and GitOps workflows; safe deployment strategies.
• Define SLO/SLI frameworks and reliability benchmarks; optimize autoscaling and performance.
• Mentor engineers and promote DevOps culture; align platform strategy with enterprise objectives.
