Job summary
Ontic seeks a DevOps Engineering leader to architect and operate secure, scalable Kubernetes platforms across AWS and AWS GovCloud, including FedRAMP‑authorized environments. You will drive zero‑trust security, Terraform and GitOps automation, observability, reliability, disaster recovery, and cost governance for multi‑tenant and dedicated enterprise deployments.
You’ll provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and partner with Security and Engineering to evolve Ontic’s platform strategy.
Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of DevOps/Platform Engineering in enterprise or high-scale SaaS environments.
- Production AWS and AWS GovCloud experience; FedRAMP familiarity is a plus.
- Experience with Terraform, CI/CD automation and GitOps workflows.
- Strong security, zero-trust, and compliance discipline.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise platform architecture across certified cloud environments.
- Drive zero-trust security, GitOps automation, observability and DR planning.
- Mentor engineers and partner with Security and Engineering on platform strategy.
- Define HA, multi-AZ, and cost governance for multi-tenant and dedicated deployments.
