Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking a DevOps professional to manage and automate AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters on AWS, and end-to-end CI/CD pipelines. The role involves Terraform-based configuration, Kafka/IBM MQ management, and secure deployment practices across development, staging and production environments.

Hybrid work arrangement with up to 40% telecommuting is available, leveraging tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Helm to deliver scalable, reliable systems.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science or related field.
• Two years of relevant DevOps/Cloud experience.
• Experience automating AWS infrastructure with Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience provisioning Kubernetes clusters on AWS with Rancher.
• CI/CD automation using Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, Veracode and Sysdig.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, infrastructure, operations, security, and production control teams to elicit requirements.
• Manage and support AWS infrastructure (EC2, IAM, S3, VPC, AMI, ELB, security groups).
• Automate deployment/configuration of AWS infrastructure using Ansible and Terraform.
• Develop automation frameworks for Kafka and IBM MQ messaging systems.
• Deploy and repave Kafka clusters using Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible and Docker.
• Operate Kubernetes clusters on AWS with Rancher, Helm, and Harness.
