Job summary

PAYCO The Clearing House Payments Company L.L.C. is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer focused on CI/CD tooling for on‑prem and AWS infrastructure.

You will work with developers, QC and infrastructure teams to build in‑house and cloud pipelines, enabling secure build and deployment practices. You will also maintain current DevOps tooling. The role requires expert Kubernetes, Terraform/Ansible, and CI/CD tooling experience, plus strong cloud (AWS/Azure) and security expertise to support a regulated

Qualifications

• Advance proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and multi-region cloud environments.
• Expert level Kubernetes management including cluster hardening and service meshes.
• Design and scale self-healing pipelines with GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Jenkins for GitOps.
• Deep AWS/Azure knowledge emphasizing cost, security, and high availability.
• Telemetry with ELK, Grafana or Datadog for proactive health.
• Move legacy architectures to scalable microservices with secure DevOps.
• Integrate automated security scanning and compliance-as-code into SDLC.
• Lead DevSecOps with vulnerability scanning, Vault, and IAM policy enforcement.
• Experience with CICD tools like Jenkins, GitHub, GH Actions, Artifactory, SonarQube, Fortify, Black Duck, Xray.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, code reviews, and establish internal best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication; mentorship in Agile environments.
• Experience in Secure-SDLC and regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and enforce Policy as Code to meet standards.
• Lead automated security gates and vulnerability management in CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage credentials securely using Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, and RBAC.
• Architect multi-region, disaster-recovery ready AWS environments for critical banking transactions.
