PAYCO The Clearing House Payments Company L.L.C. is seeking a Cloud Database Administrator Engineer to oversee enterprise database platforms across cloud and on-premises environments. This senior role focuses on designing and implementing secure, automated, and scalable database solutions that support critical payment systems.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience with Db2 LUW and Microsoft SQL Server, and must demonstrate leadership in database modernization initiatives. Hybrid work is available with three days onsite.

Qualifications

10+ years of enterprise database administration and engineering experience.
Expert-level experience administering Db2 LUW 11.5+ in Linux environments.
Proven experience designing and supporting cloud database platforms within AWS.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, administer, and optimize enterprise Db2 LUW and SQL Server environments.
Ensure database platforms meet enterprise standards for availability, performance, and compliance.
Engineer resilient and scalable database solutions utilizing AWS services.
