Job summary

CSX is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to design and implement cloud and on-prem infrastructure that is highly available, scalable, and disaster-ready. You will develop IaC/Config-as-Code to automate provisioning and align with enterprise standards, while blending systems engineering with DevOps and AI-enabled automation.

You will lead Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms, build CI/CD pipelines, and drive automation through tools like Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps roles.
Strong experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift.
Strong experience with Linux system administration.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage enterprise Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms with resiliency and scalability.
Define and maintain platform standards with lifecycle, patches, upgrades, and policy enforcement.
Automate provisioning and management using Terraform and Ansible, drive self-healing and scalability.
Develop internal platforms and tools to simplify deployment, monitoring, and operations for developers.
Collaborate with MidTier, Dev, Security to deliver secure, performant systems.
