Job summary

SkyWater Technology, Inc. is seeking a Development Engineering Senior Technician to support real-time semiconductor development work in a fast-paced foundry. You will run experiments, troubleshoot material issues, and contribute to technology development programs impacting customer and internal R&D success.

You will gain broad exposure to more than 100 toolsets and several process areas, while drafting clear work instructions and metrology recipes to improve repeatability and quality.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of technician experience in a semiconductor fab or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of Photolithography, Diffusion, Etch, Thin Films, CMP, and Implant/RTA.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to work C Shift (Thu-Sat + every other Wed, 6:00 AM–6:15 PM).
• U.S. Citizen required for government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support development work in real time and communicate with Development Engineers during days and weekends.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues; evaluate non-conforming material with engineering partners.
• Execute engineering experiments using the ATS Technician Request system.
• Build broad fab expertise across 100+ toolsets in multiple process areas.
• Create and refine work instructions, process flows, and metrology recipes.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and boost efficiency.
• Grow independence with increasing responsibility and autonomy.
• Support ATS engineering and development priorities.
