Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a CRM/BI specialist to build and maintain our Foundation's CRM infrastructure, data models, and reporting. You will configure automations, manage data governance, and develop dashboards to enable data-informed decision making across fundraising operations.

The role requires hands-on experience with CRM platforms, SQL, and BI tools (Qlik Sense/Tableau/Power BI). You will train non-technical users and drive process improvements in a nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and administering CRM platforms with automation and access control.
• Ability to design CRM data structures and reporting data models.
• Experience building dashboards and reports with BI tools (Qlik Sense/Tableau/Power BI).
• Strong data cleansing and governance practices to ensure data integrity.
• Proficient in SQL and data pipeline concepts (ETL/ELT).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work autonomously.
• Understanding nonprofit development operations and donor stewardship is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support teams in defining reporting needs, metrics and KPIs across development operations.
• Drive system adoption and process improvement initiatives.
• Provide system support and training to ensure consistent CRM usage.
• Provide training to non-technical users on CRM functionality and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the Foundation’s CRM infrastructure to support reliable, scalable donor and fundraising operations
• Support the configuration and ongoing administration of the CRM, including custom objects, properties, pipelines, workflows, automations and user permissions
• Build and maintain backend data structures and system architecture to support evolving organizational needs and decision making
• Develop and optimize workflows, automations and integrations to improve efficiency and data flow across systems
• Manage CRM system operations and data integrity to ensure stability, reliability and effective daily functionality
• Enforce data governance standards to ensure accuracy, consistency, security and integrity of data across systems
• Oversee ongoing CRM administration including user access, system configuration updates and data flow across systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CRM configuration, automations, integrations and connected systems
• Build and maintain reporting tools, dashboard and KPI models to enable data-informed decision making
• Develop and maintain Qlik Sense dashboards, data models, reporting tools and KPIs to provide insights for development efforts

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience working with CRM platforms, including system configuration, automation and user access management
• Ability to design and maintain CRM data structures and models that support reporting and operational need
• Experience developing dashboards, reports and analytical models using BI and data visualization tools (Qlik Sense, Tableau or Power BI)
• Demonstrated knowledge of process improvement, with the ability to streamline operations, optimize efficiency and improve data integrity through effective data cleansing and government practices
• Working knowledge of SQL, data transformation and data pipeline concepts (ETL/ELT)
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to work autonomously and in a cross-collaborative environment while optimizing team productivity
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to systems administration and operational process review, supported by a strong attention to detail
• Ability to translate business needs into practical, scalable technical solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of nonprofit development operations, including donor stewardship, fundraising processes, and accreditation practices, with the ability to support data structures that enable these functions
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with privileged information.
