Job summary

Vision To Learn in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Senior Development Officer to strengthen fundraising by leading donor stewardship, communications, and moves management across a portfolio of supporters. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, you will translate impact into tailored engagement and ensure timely follow-through.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of fundraising and development experience.
• Excellent writing and editing skills for donor communications.
• Experience with moves-management and cultivating major gifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead donor stewardship planning for an assigned portfolio.
• Develop tailored stewardship plans reflecting donor interests and giving history.
• Coordinate donor meetings, briefings, site visits, and engagement opportunities.
• Draft donor-facing materials, updates, proposals, and renewal communications.
• Solicit and steward donors and funders; support grant proposals and funder communications.
• Represent Vision To Learn in donor meetings and external engagements.
