Job summary

CBRE in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Development Manager to lead multi-family development projects from entitlements through lease-up. The role focuses on coordinating with stakeholders, managing schedules, budgets, and approvals to meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 years in commercial development management, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong leadership and communication skills. Travel to sites in the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, business or equivalent from 4-year college program preferred.
• Typically, at least 6 years commercial development management experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Predevelopment: support due diligence on land/building acquisitions, coordinate with consultants and officials.
• Development execution: manage procurement and coordination of contractors and consultants, review estimates and schedules.
• Post development: assist close-out, ensure turnover and final reports, and coordinate inspections.
