Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 5+ years' experience.
• Experience in connector design.
• Proficient in 3D modeling using SolidWorks.
• General understanding of ASME Y14.5 drawing standards.
• Strong GD&T understanding.
• Ability to communicate with global customers and teams.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities.
• ANSYS or other FEA simulation experience.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and develop power connector solutions.
• Define product requirements with front-end team and customers.
• Lead product design reviews and present technical information.
• Develop testing programs to verify design intent.
• Present concepts to customers and incorporate feedback.
• Define product, application, and packaging specifications.
• Create verification and qualification test plans.
• Coordinate with NPI and manufacturing to transition to production.
