The American Repertory Theater at Harvard University seeks a highly detail-oriented coordinator to join the A.R.T. development team. The Senior Development Coordinator supports the A.R.T.’s development department including front-line fundraisers and other primary department functions such as board management, campaign prospect research and support, membership events, maintaining governance documentation and other development materials, activities in support of the annual fund and capital campaign submission, and special projects as needed. This position is responsible for assisting the Chief Development Officer (CDO) with day-to-day operations, as well as providing support for the development team. Reporting to the CDO, the Senior Development Coordinator should have a broad range of fundraising and development experience in non-profits working with a volunteer board and donors. The A.R.T. is in the midst of a $250M+ capital campaign for a new building that will open to the public in the spring of 2027.

This position has been determined by school or unit leaders that some of the duties and responsibilities can be effectively performed at a non-Harvard location. The work schedule and location will be set by the department at its discretion and based upon operational needs. When not working at a Harvard or Harvard-designated location, employees in hybrid positions must work in a Harvard registered state in compliance with the University’s Policy on Employment Outside of Massachusetts. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process. Certain visa types and funding sources may limit work location. Individuals must meet work location sponsorship requirements prior to employment.
