REPORTS TO:Director of Annual Giving and Engagement
LOCATION:Onsite
COMPENSATION:$45,000 - $55,000 annually
EFFECTIVE DATE:10/26/2026
SUMMARY: The Senior Development Associate is a versatile, hands-on fundraiser who works across every part of our Development Department. This role manages a portfolio of corporate and business partners, supports annual giving and donor stewardship, helps carry out marketing and communications, and represents Advocates in the community. Working closely with the Director of Annual Giving and Engagement, the Senior Development Associate helps raise the funds that make our work in Advocacy and Justice, Housing and Stability and Child and Family Well-Being possible. Together, the Development team is working toward an annual fundraising goal of $1.85 million.
This is a role for a true utility player: someone who is just as comfortable asking a local business for sponsorship as they are pitching a story to the local paper, setting up an event or pulling a report from our CRM. Most of all, this person gets excited about sitting down one-on-one with a donor, learning what matters to them and inviting them to deepen their support. The right person is curious, organized, quick to learn and committed to our mission of protecting children, empowering youth and uplifting families.
