Job summary

Temporal Technologies seeks a Senior Developer Success Engineer - West to be the frontline technical expert for our developer community. You will help users deploy and scale Temporal in cloud-native environments and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.

You will optimize performance, develop automation, and build observability tools (Grafana/Prometheus) while partnering with customers and internal teams to improve reliability and the developer experience.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience as a developer.
Proficient in Python, Java, Golang, or TypeScript.
Experience deploying and managing medium to large cloud-native architectures (Kubernetes/Docker).
Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
Minimum of one year in a customer-facing role.
Experience working with or as part of remote teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Act as the frontline technical expert for our developer community and help users deploy and scale Temporal in cloud-native environments.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, optimize performance, and develop automation solutions.
Develop observability and reliability tooling to improve developer experience and platform reliability.
Collaborate with developers, engineering, and product teams to drive architectural best practices and scalable solutions.
